To reach the widest possible audience Tene Briut produces a fortnightly radio program on the Voice of Israel radio station. The program is presented in Amharic and guest speakers come from a very wide range of specialties. Topics address a variety of health and lifestyle issues pertinent to the community, including the impact of chronic illness on the individual and the family. According to surveys, over 80% of the adult Ethiopian community listens regularly to the radio show and state they find the information useful. Estimates put the average number of listeners to the radio program at over 4,000.
Program content is prepared by Dr. Seffefe, Tene Briut's public health expert and National Coordinator of Health Promotion. Dr. Seffefe also hosts the program and the Question &Answer segment that concludes each session. As a result of his many years of striving to assist Ethiopian-Israelis improve their health quality through knowledge and adopting healthy life-style habits, Dr. Seffefe holds a position of great respect within the community
